2. when i was little, i called cows “moo-ducks” and i still get made fun of for it. i was also terrified of the easter bunny.

1. I look 1,000% Irish but I’m actually 1/2 German. (The other half is Scottish/Irish, of course, gotta get that red hair/palepalepale skin/freckles from somewhere.)
2. I’ve never been in love. And I’m 25. But I’m ok with that. I’m focusing on grad school and friends. And maybe dating occasionally. Maybe I had a date today. (Ladies, Cracker Barrel is the.best.place. for a first date. Truth.)
3. I’m 5’10.5” and I’m still the shortest person in my family.
4. I’m TERRIFIED of mannequins. My college roommate and her boyfriend hid a mannequin in my dark room one night. The 6’4” Under Armour mannequin. I fell on the floor and cried.
5. I still tie my shoes using the “two bunny ear” method.

Buster had an unfortunate encounter in a photo booth on the wildlife-populated island of Catalina.
I never sleep as well as I do when I’m at my mom’s house, burrowed under blankets, snuggled up with this grizzled, cantakerous, geriatric dog called Petey. He was my Christmas present when I was 10. That was 15 years ago.
